FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions, answered.
What is an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)?
An EAP is an employer-supported programme that offers employees access to confidential assistance for personal or work-related concerns.
Is employee counselling confidential?
Confidentiality is central to professional counselling. Applicable exceptions, consent arrangements and programme-specific policies must be clearly communicated.
Can an EAP support remote or hybrid employees?
EAP delivery can be designed to suit distributed workforces, subject to counsellor availability and agreed delivery arrangements.
Can we customise an EAP for our organisation?
Yes. We begin with your workforce needs and agree on an appropriate service scope.
Will HR receive individual counselling notes?
Individual counselling information should not be shared with HR as routine programme reporting. Any disclosures must follow applicable law, consent and safeguarding requirements.
